Stop Acid Attacks


Stop Acid Attacks (SAA) adalah kampanye melawan kekerasan menggunakan asam keras di India. SAA berusaha menjembatani para korban dengan masyarakat, karena sebagian besar korban kejahatan brutal ini mengisolasi diri. Karena ketidakpedulian pemerintah dan masyarakat, sebagian besar korban tidak memiliki kesempatan dan sering hidup dalam kesendirian. SAA bertujuan untuk meneliti dan melacak kasus serangan asam dan mengumpulkan data untuk mengetahui situasi yang sebenarnya mengenai korban. Salah satu hasil dari kampanye ini adalah sebuah kafe yang disebut "Hangout Sheroes '" di Agra, kota yang terkenal dengan Taj Mahal. Kafe ini dijalankan oleh korban serangan asam, dan telah memberi mereka kesempatan untuk mandiri secara finansial dan sosial.

Hass hilft


Hass Hilft atau Kebencian Membantu adalah satu kampanye yang diluncurkan oleh Exit. Idenya: setiap ada postiing kebencian di Facebook, user bisa berkomentar dengan banner milik Hass Hilft. Untuk setiap posting kebencian di Facebook, Hass Hilft menyumbangkan 1 Euro bagi pengungsi atau mereka yang keluar dari kelompok radikal kanan. Sejauh ini, mereka telah berhasil menggalang dana lebih dari 10.000 Euro.

Di banyak kota-kota di Iran polisi syariah berjaga di hampir setiap sudut kota. Mereka bertugas mengawasi kepatuhan warga dalam menerapkan etika periilaku dan juga etika berpakaian, terutama pakaian yang dikenakan perempuan. Aplikasi smartphone "Gershad" berfungsi sebagai sistem peringatan dini dan mencatat dimana polisi syariah berjaga. Lokasi yang ditampilkan berdasarkan laporan para user.

Seluruh korban adalah aktivis yang mempropagandakan sekularisme dan merupakan penentang fundamentalisme agama. Kelompok Islam radikal mengaku bertanggungjawab atas pembunuhan itu. Seorang blogger yang berulang kali menjadi target pembunuhanb telah membuat satu film dokumenter tentang situasi yang dihadapi blogger atheis, penulis dan penerbit di Bangladesh. Film dokumenter ini menunjukkan, bagaimana para politisi papan atas mendukung pembunuhan blogger di negara bermayoritas Muslim ini.

Since 2012, a group of young women’s rights activists has launched a series of campaigns. “The bloodstained bride” is one held in the streets to encourage women to fight against domestic violence. On March 8, 2015, International Women’s Day, five feminist activists from this group were arrested for planning to distribute stickers on buses to raise awareness of sexual harassment on public transportation and were detained on charges of “picking quarrels and provoking troubles.” Thirty-seven days later, “The Feminist Five” were released on bail, under tremendous domestic and international pressure.

"We'll explain the budget so you'll finally understand where your taxes have gone and so you can have an impact," that’s how the experts at this project explain their goal. "The Price of the State" provides easily understandable answers to complicated questions as well as two interactive "calculators." The first one is called "the bill from the state" and shows what taxes people pay from their income. The second is called "pension calculator" and shows the state of the future Ukrainian pension system according to current law. "The Price of the State" is run by the Eastern Europe Fund and the CASE-Ukraine NGO with financial support of the European Union.
